Doctor Esteban Mondia

Esteban is the current Medical Superintendent of Childers Hospital and also the Principal Doctor of this surgery. He holds a fellowship in GP (FRACGP). Dr Mondia has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and he also holds specialist registration as a physician (Adult Medicine) in the Philippines. His special interests are adult medicine such as cardiology, pulmonary, diabetes and skin cancer. He is also a member of Australasian College of Cutaneous Oncology.





Doctor Eunice Woochilders-doctors-eunice

Eunice graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. She obtained her fellowship in GP (FRACGP) in 2013. She has a keen interest in all areas of women’s health including insertion and removal of Mirena (IUD), skin cancer checks and surgery. She holds diplomas from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (DRANZCOG) and Australasian College of Cutaneous Oncology (skin cancer).





Doctor David Prattchilders-doctors-david

David graduated from University College London with a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He also has a degree in Anatomy and Developmental Neuroscience. He undertook his basic surgical training in London, working in neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology and general surgery, and is an associate fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He also undertook higher surgical training in Orthopaedics in London and Cardiff.

He has experience in Emergency Medicine, in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. He is presently working towards his fellowship in general practice.

He has a postgraduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Cardiff University and is a member of the faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine UK. He has trained as a team physician with the American College of Sports Medicine, and is a recognised as a Sports Medicine Doctor by Sports Medicine Australia. He has previously worked as team doctor for the Scotland national under-19 football team. He is available for sports event coverage by arrangement.

He is also a member of the Australian College of Phlebology and is working towards his Certificate in Sclerotherapy and
has trained on occasion in Brisbane. He is offering injection sclerotherapy of spider veins to suitable patients on a private
patient basis.

He also holds a Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine and will be offering wrinkle reduction treatments in the
near future.

Doctor Rabia Gillchilders-doctors-david

Rabia has recently joined the practice. Rabia graduated from Baqai Medical University (Pakistan) in 2005. Rabia has special interest in women’s health as well as aesthetic medicine.

Our Practice Nurses offer a variety of services and experience including midwifery, childhood vaccinations, pap smears, wound care, baby checks and chronic disease management.

Carolyn Angus specialises in Health Care Plans. Paula Dwyer, Sharon Freestone and Richell Pilapil specialise in wound care and general nursing.
